The 2021 Scott Trial was an absolute epic. And Jitsie was there to deliver the first live broadcast in the event’s long history.
Presented by former top British trials rider and multiple Scott finisher, Steve ‘Woody’ Hole, Jitsie’s extensive coverage started with the first rider away, covered no fewer than five groups of sections and concluded with the presentation some twelve hours later.
After the absence of the event in 2020 due to the pandemic, entries filled up fast with a quality field including favourites, twelve-times world champion, and six-times Scott winner, Dougie Lampkin riding in his final Scott, James Dabill, a four-times Scott winner and former British champion Jack Price who, like Dabill, made a popular return to trials after a year away from the sport racing enduro.
With an entry list that reads like a who’s who of British trials, the 2021 edition of the Scott did not disappoint. Fans lined the gullies and crowded the stream sides as the almost two hundred-strong entry of riders, their abilities ranging from clubman to World Champion, took on the seventy-six sections and an eighty-five-mile moorland route against the clock in what is widely regarded as the toughest one-day trial on the planet.
With almost three hours of coverage available to view for the most fanatical of fans together with a highlights edit for the perfect coffee break, we hope you will enjoy reliving some of the best moments of this iconic event with Jitsie.
