Benoit's Beta Evo 2025
The Beta Evo 2025 builds on the advancements that have made the EVO line the best-selling trials bike in the world. Key updates include a new 39mm R16V front fork and a rear shock similar to the one used on the Evo Factory model. What truly stands out on the new bike is the striking gunmetal grey frame. Jitsie rider Benoit Dagnicourt recently made the switch from Vertigo to Beta, and we were excited to welcome him to Jitsie HQ for a complete makeover of his new bike. Take a closer look at the bike in detail below.
Suspension
With Beta's switch to a 39mm front fork, the new triple clamps now allow the Jitsie 39mm ADRF front fork to be mounted. According to Benoit, this is a major improvement over the original fork. He also swapped in a stiffer rear shock spring, better suited to his riding style and weight.
Drive
Benoit uses Jitsie sprockets paired with a Regina EB-ORO chain, sticking with the standard gearing ratio.
Brakes
Moto-Master brake discs and pads provide strong, reliable stopping power.
Plastics
Nearly every carbon-look protector from the Jitsie range is featured on the bike, including those for the frame, swingarm, silencer, and engine cases. The personalized front number board, with Benoit’s number sticker, adds a custom touch and enhances the front end’s appearance compared to the original headlight.
Footpegs
The Jitsie Ratio Race titanium footpegs are wider with a slightly forward-angled platform, promoting a more active riding position. They're not only incredibly strong and nearly unbreakable, but also exceptionally lightweight.
Controls
Race levers with adjusters for customizing the position and bite point are essential on any bike. The aluminum throttle pulley with bearing offers a smooth, responsive feel, while the race throttle cable can be easily adjusted without tools. Race bar ends help protect the grips in the event of a crash, and the CNC machined master cylinder covers are personalized with Benoit's name. It's all about the details.
Linkage
The CNC machined linkage delta kit and dog bones are significantly stronger and more durable than the original components. With the addition of extra-strong linkage bolts, the suspension setup is built for durability and long-lasting performance.
Rear Wheel Spindle Kit
Completely new for the Beta is the rear wheel spindle kit, which features an aluminum spindle with snail cams and a stainless steel nut. The design eliminates the need for a metal spacer between the nut and the spindle, a component still required on the standard bike.
Here’s what Benoit has to say about his new bike
Benoit Dagnicourt
"After riding the Vertigo for so many years, switching to the Beta feels like coming home. I really like the standard bike, but as a bigger guy, I need to fine-tune the suspension and engine to suit my needs. Thankfully, Jitsie’s extensive catalog of Beta aftermarket parts makes it easy to set up the bike exactly the way I like it."
