TrialGP Zelhem, Netherlands
It was exactly 40 years ago when the World championship last visited the Netherlands and it didn't disappoint for its return in Zelhem in 2019. An immaculate organisation, awesome man-made sections on a small closed course and a lot of dutch trials fans. The hot Summer weather in Zelhem made Sunday's trial physically demanding on the riders bodies.
Franzi Kadlec had the fastest time in QLF but an unfortunate dab about 1mtr before the finish put him back to 6th.
Pau Martinez in section 14.
Martinez' minder and mechanic Suca giving valuable feedback.
Belgian youngster Emile Mattheeuws made his Trial2 debut in Zelhem. He'll also ride in the Belgian TrialGP next weekend.
She loves trials.
Kadlec struggled early on in the trial, but an incredibly strong series of cleans at the end saved his day beck to 8th place.
Kadlec in the spectacular waterfall section.
It was a big step up for Mattheeuws in Zelhem. Live and learn.
A bad day for Pau Martinez with 7th place in Trial125. He's a podium contender at any event.
A new bike and a strong team around him have made a World of difference for Kadlec so far this season.
Franzi and his minder Sergi Bellavista.
Kadlec was riding in some new Jitsie '20 collection Linez apparel. Available August 1st.
Spectacular sections in Zelhem. The ZAMC club did an amazing job in preparation for the event.
What will the Belgian TrialGP bring for Kadlec?
Thumbs up. Trials is life, even on a hot day in Summer.
